Yes. Sanctuary Farm maintains an active composting system and all food scraps and compostable materials made of paper, wood or bamboo can be returned to the land through our compost initiative. We are happy to provide guidance on what can and cannot be composted.

We ask all vendors to help us care for the land by supporting our sustainability practices throughout the event. We ask that vendors use reusable or compostable materials, minimizing single-use plastics, and properly sorting compost, recycling, and landfill waste. To protect the farm's natural spaces, we do not allow glitter, confetti, balloon releases, styrofoam, fireworks, sky lanterns, or other materials that can become litter, create fire hazards, or harm wildlife. We are happy to work with vendors in advance to answer questions and ensure their services align with the farm's values and stewardship practices.
