Sanctuary Farm is a wedding and event venue located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, serving couples and guests from across the region, including Durham, Raleigh, Carrboro, Pittsboro, and Hillsborough. Our convenient location makes it easy for guests traveling from throughout the Triangle to gather, celebrate, and enjoy a full wedding or event experience in a peaceful farm setting.
For your ceremony, you have your choice of three sites – one is our newly constructed outdoor ceremony site under the trees named “The Grove,” the second is our pond-side gazebo where birdsong can be heard, and the third is our indoor barn “Rustic” Loft.
Within the renovated barn, you will find a full-service catering kitchen with enclosed and open lofts designed to accommodate rehearsal dinners and receptions.
Exchange vows beneath the trees at The Grove, our private outdoor ceremony space surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful and scenic setting for weddings.
Our pond-side gazebo provides a serene waterfront ceremony location where birdsong and natural beauty create a relaxed and intimate atmosphere for your wedding.
The Rustic Loft is our indoor barn venue, featuring a beautifully renovated space with a full-service catering kitchen and flexible loft areas ideal for ceremonies, receptions, and rehearsal dinners.

Weddings can be one very intense day of action or you can invite your friends and family for an extended stay. Celebrate your “Destination Wedding” at Sanctuary Farm and stay on the land for the entire weekend or more.
We have a variety of unique on-the-farm overnight accommodations, including six yomes (geodesic dome/yurt hybrids), two yurts, and four climate-controlled barn rooms, for up to 40 guests. Before and after your special event, you and your guests can enjoy all the land has to offer. Walk barefoot through the garden, share stories around the campfire, and sleep under the stars to a serenade of crickets, chorus frogs, and barred owls.
