Arrive at the farm, settle into the land, and begin setting up for the weekend. With exclusive access to the property, there’s plenty of time to get everything ready without the rush of a traditional wedding day.
Afternoon | Rehearsal + Relaxed Time Together
Gather your wedding party and family for a rehearsal, then take some time to explore the farm, walk through the gardens, visit the animals, or simply settle into the weekend.
Evening | Rehearsal Dinner or Welcome Party + Bonfire
Kick off the weekend with a relaxed and yummy dinner. Everything from a fully catered farm-to-table dinner to a food truck or pizza party is a fun and popular option for Friday night, giving everyone a chance to gather for a casual meal before the wedding day. After dinner, gather around the bonfire in the heart of the lawn, catch up with friends and family traveling from near and far, and enjoy your first night together at the farm.
Saturday: Your Wedding Day!
Morning | A Slow Start to the Big Day
Wake up surrounded by your closest friends and family. Start the morning with coffee and breakfast in the barn, a walk through the gardens, a visit with the goats, chickens, and horse, or some quiet time by the pond. For those looking for a little more relaxation, a wood-fired sauna session by the pond is another way to ease into the day.
Late Morning + Early Afternoon | Get Ready
Head back to the climate-controlled barn rooms to get ready with your wedding party. This is also a great time for photos, music, and snacks. If you’d like to share a private moment before the ceremony, this is also a perfect time for a first look.
3:30-4:00 PM | Ceremony
Gather your guests for your ceremony at one of Sanctuary Farm’s beautiful outdoor ceremony sites, whether that’s beneath the trees in The Grove or beside the water at the Pondside Gazebo.
After the Ceremony | Cocktail Hour
Celebrate with your newly expanded circle of family and friends over refreshing drinks, conversation, and lawn games while you take photos and soak in the first moments of being married.
Evening | Dinner + Dancing Under the Stars
Settle in for dinner on the lawn or inside one of our beautiful barn lofts, followed by toasts, dessert, dancing, and plenty of time to celebrate. As the evening unfolds, the bonfire can become part of the party, giving guests another place to gather, relax, and keep the celebration going.
Outdoor amplified music wraps up by 10:00 PM, but the evening doesn’t have to end there. Gather around the fire, move inside the barn, or plan a special send-off for the newlyweds before turning in for the night.
Overnight | Stay Together at the Farm
After a full day of celebrating, retreat to your accommodations without having to travel anywhere. The newlyweds can settle into one of the climate-controlled barn rooms while friends and family stay throughout the other barn rooms, yurts, and yomes.
