We celebrated our wedding at the farm in late October and have nothing but beautiful things to say about this place and the people who love and care for it. From the moment we decided to tour the farm as a potential wedding venue, we were met with so much kindness and excitement. Everyone at the farm made us feel like we would be right at home for the days leading up to our wedding and that’s exactly how we felt. We stayed for 4 nights and utilized the renovated barn rooms, yurts, and yomes. The lodging was as described and provided the perfect setup for our family and friends to comfortably stay with us and enjoy the peace and serenity that the farm has to offer. The kitchen was one of our favorite spaces during our wedding week as we utilized it for group meals and gathering each morning and we appreciated how well stocked it was with all the cookware, serving dishes, and dining ware that our group could possibly need. There was abundant refrigerator space for food, beverages, and flowers which made preparation for our wedding very comfortable. The outdoor showers were amazing, especially at night under the stars. The evening bonfires were the perfect touch when gathering with our loved ones and we always had plenty of help from folks at the farm to build and light them so we didn’t have to break in our festivities. We got so lucky with the leaf color this time of year and it added another magical and special element to our stay. If you are looking for a peaceful and magical place host your big day, we wholeheartedly recommend Sanctuary Farm. Thank you all so much for everything you did to help us have the most magical time! We’re so grateful and look forward to coming back to the farm with our loved ones in the years to come! 💚Posted on Laura FrazierTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just returned home from our son’s wedding, held at this venue. It was a multi-day event, and we were blown away! We utilized all of the sleeping areas, including the yurts and the yomes. The kitchen is extremely accommodating for large groups. We had a caterer for the reception, held outside for 120 people. However, we cooked several large meals inside, and had plenty of refrigerator space, serving containers, appliances, etc. We had beautiful Fall weather, but would have been fine having it indoors, as there was adequate space. The property managers were so attentive, responding immediately to anything we needed, including nightly bonfires! Their conservation mission is clear and well-implemented. It is a working farm with a few animals, so bring appropriate shoes and watch where you step! All part of the charm! Venue is secluded, but not too far away from groceries! Highly recommend this venue!Posted on Dawn NeitzeyTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. If I could give Sanctuary Farm more than five stars I most definitely would! The hospitality we received on our wedding day and the attentiveness to detail was unmatched. Pam was amazing and so responsive. This place by far exceeded our wedding day expectations, we could not have asked for a better venue and host. Perfect for an outdoor wedding themed around nature and calming energy. Forever grateful to Sanctuary Farm and Pam and Constantine for working with us on short notice and accommodating all of our wedding day visions.Posted on A BoggsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our family hosted an incredible wedding, with 150 guests, at Sanctuary Farm! We highly recommend it as a venue for events large or small! With fantastic support from the Sanctuary Farm staff, we turned the wedding into a multi-day celebration, with over 30 of our guests spending several nights in the Yomes (Yurts) that are available as a very reasonable add-on. We also hired Constantine, the resident chef, to prepare a locally-sourced rehearsal dinner the night before the wedding – the food was delicious. We cannot recommend Sanctuary Farm highly enough!Posted on Chris AllenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sanctuary Farm is an extraordinarily beautiful and inviting event venue and community space. I loved hosting my retreat here and felt very supported by the staff and the land. There is a stunning gazebo on the pond, yoga/dance/movement room, community kitchen, garden and so much more. Everyone who came to my retreat loved the experience and said they can't wait to be back!Posted on Abbey CmielTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Sanctuary Farm is absolutely magical! ✨✨✨ And Pam and Consti could not be more welcoming, lovey and wonderful. The food Consti cooked was super delicious, thoughtfully prepared and met all of our needs. On our initial welcome tour, upon seeing the Grove, I was wowed at how perfect a place it would be for an intimate, nature-inspired wedding!!! It has a gorgeous space down by the water for cocktails, the grove is set up perfectly for the ceremony, the upstairs at the barn is perfect for dancing and dining, and it includes several other spaces both inside and out (like a fire pit!) to have conversations with family and friends. However, I wasn’t there for a wedding. I was there to lead a retreat on the Elements. The farm was impressively perfect for us. (How can the same place be so perfect for a wedding and a retreat? lol). We loved cooking together in the beautiful, spacious kitchen and choosing to share our meals inside on cool mornings at the long inclusive table or outside at the numerous picnic tables under the springtime sun. We loved that we could choose where to have our retreat activities, depending on the weather - we studied herbalism in the garden soaking up rays, we learned about our body’s water systems under the roof down by the pond, we had a firey dance party upstairs in the barn, and bounced around inside or outside depending on the weather and the groups’ desires and needs. And a huge plus… we loved that upstairs in the barn had all the blankets, props, seats, and eye masks we needed for yoga, class time, and all the other retreat activities. Sanctuary Farm was PERFECT for us. It met and exceeded my hopes and expectations and I can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much to Pam and Consti for being incredible humans, welcoming us so warmly and for working with us to make this dream-of-a-retreat happen. I have loved working with the Sanctuary Farm team to coordinate the hosting of a retreat at this special property. They are accommodating, friendly, and clearly passionate about the land + space at Sanctuary Farm. Our retreat group LOVED the gardens and "glamping" in the yomes! Such a sweet nature retreat.Posted on bailey mcneillTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We hosted a long weekend women's retreat at this property and could not recommend the venue more. It is obvious that the land, gardens, structures and accommodations at Sanctuary Farm have been lovingly tended to with such care + intention, and the management team are some of the most kind, friendly, grounded and brilliant humans I've met! We particularly enjoyed the upstairs barn classroom for activities ranging from class time to dance, as well as the pond gazebo for gathering by the water. There are so many small touches and amenities that make this place special- whether it's the comfy backjack chairs and blankets you have access to, or the flowers blooming in the gardens! HIGHLY recommend this beautiful venue for any event and group size.Posted on Integra Collective
